The ceramic coating is healthier because it requires less oil while cooking. Almond's ceramic coating is PTFE and PFOA free, which means it doesn't contain any toxic chemicals It is also dishwasher safe.

This pan is amazing. They are not kidding about the non-stick coating. I can cook greasy food in it and just wipe it clean with a sponge. Also, no fork or knife marks on it after a lot of use. The lid fits perfectly and has a vent. Also, dishwasher safe! This is my new favorite pan.
